Bespoke picture framing
Every frame I make is made to measure, designed for the piece it holds and the person it’s for. Whether it’s a print, a painting, a photograph or something with a story behind it, we’ll work out together how best to show it off.
I’ve been making bespoke frames for around ten years, using the same care and timber as the rest of my work.

What goes into a frame
- Glass
- For artwork, I use Artglass exclusively. It’s a museum-grade, anti-reflective glass, so you see the work, not the glare. Find out more about Artglass.
- Mouldings
- I make mouldings to order, so your frame can be in whatever timber you’d like. For a more affordable option, I also keep a small selection of stock pre-cut mouldings.
- Mounts
- Mountless, a cut mount, or a floating box frame, where the piece sits raised inside a deeper frame.
- Materials
- Archival materials are used throughout, with acid-free papers and tapes, so nothing in the frame will harm the work over time.
- Size
- I can frame most pieces up to a reasonable size. If yours is larger, just ask.
- Price
- Every frame is priced individually, depending on its size, timber, mount and glass. I’ll give you a quote before I start.
How it works
-
Get in touch
Send me a message with a little about the piece: what it is, its size, and any ideas you have. A photo helps.
-
Talk it through
We’ll go through the options together, from timber to mount, and agree how to get your piece to me safely. I’ll then send you a quote.
-
Made to measure
Once you’re happy, I make your frame by hand. Typical turnaround: 4 weeks.
-
Back to you
When it’s finished, we’ll arrange collection or delivery, ready to hang.
