Small Scalloped Oak Stool
A one-off small stool in solid oak with a hand-scalloped top and walnut wedges. This piece has found a home, but get in touch if you’d like something similar.
Description
This small stool is made entirely from oak. The round top is scalloped by hand, the surface showing rippling marks of the Sori-kanna plane and the knots and figure of the grain are left to speak for themselves. It stands on three round legs, each joined to the top with a round wedged mortise and tenon. Every part was cut, shaped and joined by hand in my small workshop.
