Beech & Walnut Stool
A one-off stool in solid beech with walnut legs. This piece has found a home, but get in touch if you’d like something similar.
Description
This stool has a solid beech top, from a tree felled in the garden of an old family home. The legs are American black walnut, joined to the top with round wedged mortise and tenon joints. The tenon passes through the top and is wedged tight, so the end of each leg shows as a small round detail in the beech. Slim walnut stretchers link the legs and keep it steady. Every part was cut, shaped and joined by hand in my small workshop.
